What is this?
QDSS is Disability Services Standards in Queensland.   

It forms a structural blueprint that provides the essential framework to effectively, efficiently manage and improve all processes within Disability Support Services funded by Disability and Community Care Queensland.

The Queensland Government implemented the Disability Support Services in Queensland Scheme to:
• Achieve a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the disability sector in Queensland.
• Establish a consistent level of quality across the disability sector.
• Ensure equity across government and non-government services.
• Ensure that the delivery of services is responsive to needs of people with a disability, their families and carers.
• Strengthen safeguards for people with a disability.

Services recurrently funded or supplied by Disability and Community Care Queensland(DSQ) must participate in the scheme.
