What is this?
CSSQH  stands for Core Standards for Safety and Quality in Healthcare.   CSSQH is applicable to Hospitals, Day Surgeries and Clinics.

The CSSQH requires and clarifies a number of requirements which are presented in a very generic manner in ISO9001. It is also a requirement of the program that the team have nursing experience.

• Core Standard 1 - Management of the operation of the Health Service
• Core Standard 2 - Clinical practices
• Core Standard 3 - Best available practice guidelines
• Core Standard 4 - Personnel
• Core Standard 5 - Consumer rights

The combination of ISO 9001:2008 and CSSQH is a structural blue print that  provides the essential framework for organisations in the Health Sector to achive this.
